An email was circulated recently within 3HO from a woman named Nam Kaur. She is apparently a hardcore Bhajanista and denier of the of women who have come forward accusing Bhajan of sexual abuse.
Subject: Restoring the Siri Singh Sahib’s Legacy
Sat Nam,
I’d like to introduce myself, I am Nam Kaur, a longtime student of Yogi Bhajan and former CEO of KRI. I’m writing with news about the Siri Singh Sahib Corp (SSSC) Board and how we plan to restore the injustice done to our Teacher, Yogi Bhajan.
In March 2022 we will finally have the opportunity to elect enough pro-Yogi Bhajan Board members to have the majority on the Board for the first time in years. Anyone who has been living a 3HO/Sikh Dharma lifestyle for 7 years or more is eligible to vote, and if we win back the majority, the new Board can restore Yogi Bhajan to his rightful place in our non-profits and appoint new non-profit boards.
If you would like to become a voter, all you have to do is submit a short bio at the link below and we will have 3 Sikh Dharma ministers endorse you. Then in March when registration opens all you have to do is submit your bio and minister letters which we will send to you.
Recently two SSSC Board members stepped down and 2 of the candidates who are pro SSS were able to join the Board now – Harimander Singh, Espanola, and Siri Pritam Kaur, CA. Guru Tej Singh and Siri Vishnu have agreed to stay on, and musicians Livtar Singh and Gurushabad Singh will run, as well as Siri Mukta Singh. We are still looking for one more Sikh Dharma minister who would like to serve on the Board.
Let me know if you have any questions, and please feel free to pass this onto anyone you know is pro Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan who might like to vote. We are trying to keep it on the down-low for now (ie not putting on social media as yet), so the SSSC Board doesn’t hear about our voter campaign efforts and change the qualifications!
Blessings and thank you for your vote,
Nam Kaur
The board she is referring to is the Siri Singh Sahib Corporation, the top governing body in the complicated web of for-profit and non-profit entities that Yogi Bhajan left behind when he died in 2004.

The Battle for Control
The Siri Singh Sahib Corporation Board is the top governing body for all of the 3HO Organizations. They have access to all the money. Guru Amrit Kaur, Bhajan’s former secretary and defacto group leader since Bhajan’s death and Bibiji, Yogi Bhajan’s widow, are ex officio directors. This means they were so titled “based on their merits” which is rich with irony. They were given the title of Directors by virtue of their perceived status in the community.
Problem # 1 Guru Amrit Kaur
Guru Amrit Kaur was a primary secretary to Yogi Bhajan. She was his ‘Secretary General’ for over 20 years.
In 2004, at the Siri Singh Sahib’s passing he bestowed upon (Guru Amrit Kaur) her the privilege to serve the Sangat as a spiritual guide to bring all to the feet of the Guru.
From the Siri Singh Sahib Corporation website
In the 1980’s, Guru Amrit was accused of abuse in a lawsuit filed by her sister. Guru Amrit is accused of holding her sister down while Bhajan raped her.
“In carrying out his sexual assaults, Bhajan was at times physically assisted by defendant Guru Amrit Kaur and at times physically assisted by defendant Guru Ke, who would physically restrain the plaintiff.”

She has never answered to those accusations. She was rewarded for her silence by ascending the ranks of Bhajan’s group. She carries the grandiose title of “Siri Sikdar Sahiba Sardarni”. Since Bhajan’s death, Guru Amrit Kaur has been the de facto leader of the 3HO cult.
It is very possible that Guru Amrit was also physically and sexually abused by Yogi Bhajan.
Since the stories of Bhajan’s sexual abuse of his followers came out in early 2020, she has been on a leave of absence. No comments, no explanation, no acknowledgements. She has just vanished. She remains listed as a Director of the Siri Singh Sahib Board, the group that runs 3HO. A woman accused of assisting in the grooming and rape of her own sister was rewarded and appointed to the role of Director of the group.
Problem #2: Bibiji, Yogi Bhajan’s Widow
Bibiji – Inderjit Kaur, married Bhajan in India, when he just was a customs officer, before he moved to the USA to start the 3HO cult. She was left behind in India while he was starting his group in the USA. By many accounts, Bibiji knew about the sexual abuses Bhajan was committing on his female followers. She was even named in the Kate Felt lawsuit.
In his lectures Bhajan, who has three children with Bibiji, claimed he was celibate, no longer having sex with wife. And yet, she stood by him until he died. Even with all the evidence suggesting that Bhajan was more than likely a sexual predator, a conman and a criminal. Bibiji has remained silent
Ironically, Bibiji has been in litigation with 3HO for years, trying to get more money from the group. It seems very strange to have her as a Director of the top corporation, when she has been suing the very same group for more money.
Bhajan died in October 2004. His widow, Bibiji Inderjit Kaur Puri of Los Angeles, known as “Bibiji,” and their three children alleged that the general counsel of Unto Infinity and Siri Singh Sahib Corp. conspired to exclude them from participating in managing the organizations.

They wanted to be on both companies’ boards and were seeking about $150 million in compensation for their losses. The widow accused the advisers of converting millions of dollars in assets from the organizations for personal benefit.
Both Bibiji and Guru Amrit are on the Board “based on their merits”. Both are in compromised positions with regards to the accusations against Bhajan. Both may have been abused by and benefited from their relationship with him.
The Struggle for the Soul and Control of 3HO
Adding to these two problematic directors on the 3HO ruling board, there is the movement that started this piece. The aim is to place even more “double-downer”” Bhajanists on the board. The goal of these hardliners is to deny that Yogi Bhajan was a sexual predator and to prevent compensation being paid to the women and children who were the victims of his abuses.
There are a number of people on this board who are actively fighting for change in the group, the risk is that they will be overwhelmed by the reactionary pro-Bhajanists.

This is the Board of Directors that is struggling to do the right thing and make reparations to the abused women and children of 3HO. Good luck to the ones who recognize the pain that Bhajan caused.
Who Wins, Who Loses
It is probably a natural evolution of the group that they would move towards the more extreme end of the spectrum in an effort to preserve 3HO and the unreconstructed belief in Bhajan. It would be amazing if people of good will, who are still in the group stood up, as the righteous Sikhs they want to be, and did the right thing— Acknowledge the abuses and use the funds from the groups for-profit enterprises to pay for therapy and healing of those abused.
